Land and Property Information’s (LPI) online application to view historical maps, plans, titles and indexes has changed its name to the Historical Land Records Viewer (HLRV).
Formerly known as Pixel, the change of name better reflects the growing number and greater variety of historical land record sets being delivered online through the application. The HLRV now includes indexes, Old Form titles (1863-1961), historical parish maps and plans. Today, more than 2.5 million historical land records are available via the viewer.
The HLRV can be accessed from home, the office or from public terminals at LPI, State Library and State Records. Access through the HLRV logo on LPI’s Online Portal.
Land records are also available for purchase over the counter at LPI's Queens Square office in Sydney, or through LPI's network of approved Information Brokers.
If you would like to provide feedback about the HLRV or on a specific record accessed via the viewer you can comment via the yellow envelope found on the HLRV landing page.
