The Powers of Attorney Act 2003 was reviewed by LPI in consultation with stakeholders and members of the public. One of the recommendations from that review is to split the current prescribed form of power of attorney into two separate forms – one for a general power of attorney, and one for an enduring power of attorney.
In consultation with the Elder Law Committee of the Law Society of NSW, LPI has prepared the two forms as a proposal to replace the current prescribed form.
Please look at the forms and provide your comments or suggestions.
