On 10 November 2014, Release 2 of PEXA went live. This means that transfers and caveats can now be lodged electronically with LPI. Initially pre-selected practitioners in Wollongong and Sydney will be using the system.
From February 2015, LPI expects that all property lawyers and conveyancers in NSW will be able to begin transacting through PEXA.
Release 2 adds to existing functionality to electronically process mortgages, discharges of mortgage and re-finance transactions.
