Submissions for NSW Addressing Policy feedback close 15 August 2014

The Comprehensive Addressing System Program at LPI has been working on the development and implementation of a NSW Address Management Policies. The already adopted Road Naming Policy along with the proposed Addressing Policy together provide for the establishment of roads and addresses and therefore support the realisation and maintenance of a robust addressing system for NSW.

The draft of the Address Policy (PDF 1.9 MB), Principles and Processes (PDF 1.4 MB) as well as the Address Management and Use Policy (PDF 799.3 KB) seeks to clarify the various levels of address data quality, accuracy and fitness for purpose that are required by stakeholders to achieve acceptance of the data maintained by LPI as the single source of truth dataset for NSW addresses.

LPI is seeking feedback on the Draft Policies. Your feedback is essential for LPI to ensure that the policies enacted with consideration for all stakeholders and that they secure the foundation of quality and accuracy within the NSW Address dataset.

Feedback on the policies will be accepted until close of business 15 August 2014.

The three draft policy documents, as well as a feedback form (PDF 180.4 KB) which lists the feedback mechanisms are available to download on the CPAS policies page.
