Deposited plans

Deposited Plans define legal boundaries of land and often record subdivisions, easements, resumptions or are prepared toEarly_DP support Primary Applications. The first 10,000 Deposited Plans will be re-scanned in colour to make colour markings and other details more legible. 

How can these records help?

Current plans are usually in black and white. The new colour images will present a improved view of the original document.

Accessing records

Records for purchase

At present, only previously scanned images in black and white are available for purchase from the Online Shop or through approved Information Brokers.

Colour copies will be available for purchase from the Online Shop and over the counter at Queens Square when scanning is complete.

Identifying records

Deposited Plans are identified by a DP number, eg DP825310. Current DP numbers can be found by using the Property Location Map in the Online Shop.

Deposited Plans that are no longer current can be found using charting maps and reference maps in the Historical Land Records Viewer (Pixel).

Before leaving home

Existing images of Deposited Plans can be purchased now through the Online Shop. There is no need to leave home.

New colour images are not yet available.
