Accessing SIX viewers

The Spatial Information eXchange www.six.nsw.gov.au is a web portal that enables you to view much of LPI's spatial data. Two spatial viewers are available in the portal:

SIX Viewer (requires quick sofware download on first visit)

SIX Lite  (no download required, not quite as many features)

Both viewers offer:

  • A map based view of NSW and the ability to zoom into the block level.
  • Ability to see the Lot and DP for given property. SIX Lite enables you to click on one lot at a time to see the Lot and DP, while SIX Viewer provides a cadastral map showing title references for all lots in the view.
  • Current aerial images and 1943 images for the Sydney metropolitan area © Sinclair Knight Merz 2009.
  • Boundaries of local government areas, suburbs and electoral districts.
  • Topographical, road directory and other map layers.
  • SIX Viewer has search options and image layers not available in SIX Lite.
