Note: The above graph indicates the long term stability of a CORSnet-NSW station and does not represent actual daily movement. The results are calculated daily and trends are monitored by CORSnet-NSW staff. The diagrams shown are currently updated monthly. Daily differences in CORS position at the millimetre-level are within the limits (noise level) of current LPI processing techniques.

Surveys are carried out at installation and then after 6 months, 18 months and every two years thereafter. The techniques used, as specified by Geoscience Australia, achieve sub-millimetre precision and can detect minute movements in position or height.
